The Apple Smart Watch is believed to consume an estimated 75% of the Smart Watch Market which got us wondering whether the device is at all useful in independent business operation.
Its slick, it’s inconspicuous and it seems to have received mixed reviews since the first model was released in April 2015 where some believe it to be useless while others really rate the nifty little device.
It’s fair to suggest this device isn’t one for the younger generation as they simply have no use for it. In order to get the most out of your Apple Smart Watch: you must have a need for it.
Subtle Alerts
One of the most popular features of the Apple Smart Watch is its subtle alerts. There’s nothing more disruptive than sitting in a meeting to hear your phone buzzing with messages and calls: it’s unprofessional and inappropriate. The Apple Smart Watch sends subtle alerts without lighting up causing little to-no disruptions when important business talks in play.
Efficient Notifications
It supports your emails (including outlook emails), and with all notifications coming straight to your wrist, you’re a lot more on top of tasks as you simply can’t escape.
The Smart Watch also supports Siri which means when you’re on the go, you can verbally dictate instructions to send a text, email or call which could prove useful when travelling.
Useful Apps
This techy device also offers over 3000 apps: many of which can really improve your business operation.
For example, we have the Evernote app which allows you to dictate quick notes with a single tap, there’s the App in the Air which keeps you updated on flight information and there’s Invoice2go which sends you automatic prompts to log work when you arrive at a job site.
On top of all of this: it can tell the time too!
It seems the watch has many benefits in terms of improving business operation however for those of you whose days tend to pan out similar, it might not be a great investment for you.
